Will PostConf also work as an email server or only as a
firewall?

    PostConf software will work as either a server or a gateway/firewall.
    It manages the Postfix MTA but does not perform user-management, POP,
    IMAP, or webmail.  These services are all compatible, and can all be
    run on the same server, but they would be managed from the PostConf GUI
    (as of version 2.X).

    PostConf Virtual Server and Hosting packages do include user management
    applications.

    PostConf software and appliances are 100% compatible with Unix and
    Linux account-management utilities, whether web, menu or command-line
    based.
